Christopher D Madden’s work follows in the traditions of artists like Francisco Goya and Honore Daumier in using satire and humor to reflect deeper observations and meaning. He strives to combine excellence in painting technique with a voice that speaks to the world around us today.  His artwork is intended to invite and provoke dialog and maybe even act as a change agent inspiring cultural reflection.  The artist's belief is art that still resonates throughout time has largely been created by artists brave enough to hold a mirror up to humanity.

S. Manya Stoumen-Tolino reflects on how we humans view ourselves in relation to other life on our planet and more specifically, how that view is revealed within the stories we embrace to explain our place.  In this suite of works, the artist reaches past explanations of specific events, to observe the power, influence and extremes of feeling that we often feel interacting with our environment.  She welcomes the viewer to consider how their own worlds are influenced and shaped by the stories that they accept or reject.
