Sandra Fritter is a 4th generation Washingtonian living in the Maryland suburbs. Fritter specializes in plein air, figure, and still life paintings in oil and painted from life. “I am searching for a freshness and immediateness in my work. My best work reflects the ‘dance’ that happens when I apply pieces of color quickly, catching light and dark, warm and cool.”

Fritter is also a member of GFAA Gaithersburg Fine Arts Association, Montgomery Art Association,

Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association, Montgomery County Plein Air Artists, Frederick Plein Air Artists and Potomac Artists.
